The California Jobs First Council cordially invites you to attend the California Jobs First Investment Summit, a two-day networking and informational conference for economic development practitioners, regional collaborators, local government leaders, investors, state agency partners, and more.

A full day of panels and presentations featuring:

  • Pitch Presentations: Connect with the most promising project applicants from Round 2 of the Regional Investment Initiative Implementation Phase
  • Attracting Investment & Jobs: Learn how local government and community leaders are taking action to rebuild infrastructure, rezone for new industries, and attract good-paying jobs for their residents
  • Training the Workforce: Explore how workforce development leaders are partnering with industry in new ways to design industry backed pathways to meet today’s demand
  • Designing for Industry: Gain actionable insights from regional leaders who are creating new opportunities for industrial development and job creation

Day 2: Friday, April 10th | 9:00AM — 1:00PM
UC Center Atkinson Forum

Interactive workshops focused on:

  • International Trade Tools for Practitioners: Learn how you can attract global investments to your region and help local businesses internationalize with accessible programs and tools for practitioners
  • Industry Strategies Reports: Provide your feedback on industry working group strategies and the latest growth opportunities in emerging sectors in the innovation ecosystem
  • California Jobs First Community of Practice: Join fellow regional conveners, fiscal agents, and community partners to share your reflections on what’s ahead for regional strategy and California Economic Blueprint implementation
