25% with small businesses

3% with Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise

ChicoSTART is partnering with the Department of General Services to bring a valuable state contacting workshop for small businesses Wednesday, June 24th at the Roseville Venture Lab in Downtown Roseville.

Join us for PART 3! In March and April, DGS presented an overview of "Doing Business with the State" and " I'm Certified, Now What?" This last session is an advanced overview of California’s procurement process. The training covers essential topics including state acquisition methods, leveraged procurement agreements, and solicitation formats.

Additionally, the workshop will detail:

  • requirements for Commercially Useful Function (CUF)
  • provide resources for navigating the state’s marketplace

This outreach effort is designed to help certified businesses move beyond basic registration and successfully compete for state contracts.
