Startup Challenge is a crazy-fun, high-energy competition designed to give you the experience of launching a startup in just one weekend. From September 26–28, you’ll join other creative minds, entrepreneurs, and innovators in the Sacramento ecosystem for an unforgettable deep-dive into startup life.

The event kicks off Friday evening with networking, dinner, and the chance to connect with fellow participants. Then, anyone with an idea gets 60 seconds at the microphone to pitch. The rules are simple: the idea must be brand new, with no existing work product (no websites, logos, customers, or prototypes). Teams then form around the strongest concepts and spend the weekend building, iterating, and preparing to launch.

This isn’t a weekend of talking—it’s a weekend of doing. You’ll experience the ups and downs of entrepreneurship, make valuable connections, and push your creativity to the limit. Whether you pitch, join a team, or simply soak in the energy, Startup Challenge promises to be an experience of a lifetime.
