ChicoSTART, in partnership with the California Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, has been awarded a Social Entrepreneurs for Economic Development 2.5 (SEED 2.5) grant through the California Employment Training Panel. The program provides underserved and rural entrepreneurs with pathways to self-sufficiency through entrepreneurial training, technical assistance, and $5,000 micro-grants. Together, ChicoSTART and CAHCC will conduct outreach across 18 North State counties to educate, train, and empower individuals who may face barriers to employment. This initiative reflects ChicoSTART’s mission of supporting innovation and resiliency in the region while expanding access to resources that create jobs and strengthen local economies.
